Costa Rica is a wonderful place to see when going on a vacation. There are many places to travel while in this gorgeous country such as Tortuguero National Park, which people can only get to by flying or boating. This is a magnificent place to see and includes many different types of turtles like the Green Sea turtle, Leatherback, and Hawksbills, which are known for laying many eggs in the area.
The Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve is another wonderful place to go in Costa Rica. This Cloud forest is known for having the most different types of wildlife species in the world and makes for a breathtaking time in the nature. Barra Honda National Park is another must see attraction and includes a mind-blowing cave system, which is easily gotten to by the amazing hiking trails through out the area. When sightseeing at any of these heavenly places people should always bring a camera to catch the wildlife and beauty on film.
When most people travel to Costa Rica they do not realize how many things there are to do and see. The beauty here is amazing especially on the many different beaches. When anyone decides to take vacations here, they should decide which beaches to see such as the Playa Real Beach, Playa Santa Rosa, Montezuma Beach, Playa Conchal Beach, and many more. These beaches are some of the most beautiful to see in the world and you can easily travel from one beach to another with little effort.
There are also many hotels here to choose from which include the Hotel Presidente, Colonial Hotel, Marriot Hotel, and the Real Continental. The above hotels are all great places to stay while on vacations, but if you are looking for luxury it is probably a better idea to book a room at the Marriot or the Real Continental which are both known as high class luxury hotels. There are many other places to stay, but these choices may be limited by the area that someone decides to visit.
The culture and history of this little country is very interesting. Christopher Columbus himself was one of the first explorers to lay his eyes on Costa Rica and baptized it back in 1502, which was during his last trip to the New World. The culture here was largely influenced by the many Spanish people that came to this small country during the expeditions of Spain. When people are thinking of vacations to go on this little country is on the top of the list.
