Despite being a Costa Rican and travel the country extensively there are several locations I often fail to visit mainly because as many I tend to choose the most popular destinations over those unknown (I´ve had some negative experiences in the past when relying on my instincts), recently I came across a great opportunity to visit one particular beach that I overlooked for a long time. This wonderful beach is Dominical located in South Puntarenas.

The park is located on the Pacific Coast of the country in the province of Puntarenas, several miles south of the town of Quepos.
