What is the Weather Like in Costa Rica?

Because Costa Rica is a tropical country, it doesn’t have the four seasons that most of us are used to. Instead there is just two- the dry season and the wet season.

The dry season (known locally as Verano) for most of the country runs from December to April or May, and the rest of the year (Invierno) is usually wetter.
